• Certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, sulfonamides)
• Chemotherapy or immunosuppressive drugs
• Photosensitizing pain relievers and diuretics (e.g., NSAIDs, hydrochlorothiazide)

• Clients using high concentrations of retinol, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or lactic acid around the eyes may experience increased sensitivity.
• Prescription-strength skincare (e.g., Tretinoin, hydroquinone, benzoyl peroxide) can cause irritation near the lash line.

• If you have had a chemical peel, laser treatment, microdermabrasion, or microneedling around the eyes, wait until your skin is fully healed before getting UV lash extensions.
• Clients with recent permanent eyeliner or microblading should also allow time for healing.
